Gregory "Gregg" Walker Jr.

Gregory "Gregg" Walker Jr., 39, of Ravenna, passed away on May 24, 2016. He was born in Agat, Guam on December 29, 1976 and was a long-time resident of Portage County. Gregg was a hard-working, devoted family man with a great sense of humor, loved to cook, and had a zest for life.

Gregg was preceded in death by his uncles, Lee Ernest Walker Jr., Michael Walker, Steven Walker; and step-sisters, Melody Hettick and Kymm Threatt. He is survived by his loving wife, Sara; beloved daughter, Mina; step-daughter, Katie Lucas; father, Gregory Walker Sr., mother, Doris Threatt; brother, Derrick Walker; step-mother, Diana Jean Walker; and a host of other family and friends.

Family will welcome guests for a visitation on Friday May 27, 2016 from 4-6 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 28, 2016 at 11am at Faith United Methodist Church, 1235 Tallmadge Rd., Brimfield.
