Almeda M. Lambert

Almeda M. Lambert, 94, passed away with Linda and Angelique by her side on Thursday, July 7, 2016. She was born on October 17, 1921 in, Parksville, KY to Fred and Nora Montgomery. She moved to Akron in 1927. She was employed at the Board of Education for 21 years. Almeda loved poetry, fishing in Canada with Treston, which she claimed she always caught the biggest fish. The best moment in Almeda's life was the day she and Treston got married on May 4,1949. The Marie Lambert savings and loan in now Closed.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years ,Treston Lambert , her parents and grandson KyleYazvac in 1988 also two sister and a brother.
She is survived by daughter, Linda Lambert; 6 grandchildren ; 5 great grandchildren and one on the way.

Linda would like to Thank the staff of National Church Residence, Bath Rd. for the loving care they gave to her mother, especially Lisa, Molly and Aja.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 4 p.m to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, Ohio 44305. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. also at Newcomer Funeral Home.

Interment will take place at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
