James W. Woods, "Woody", age 88, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on July 27, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Madeline Woods, age 91; his children, Carolyn Woods, Karen Lockhart, Danny Woods, and Linda (Wayne) Parrott; his grandchildren, Felicia Orem, Corina Lockhart, Melvin (Jessica) Parrott, and Jason (Jess) Parrott; his great-grandchildren, Colton Orem, Gavin and Carter Lockhart, Madeline Parrott, Jenna and Landon Hamilton.
Calling hours for his life's celebration will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, on Monday August 1, 2016 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Woody will be laid to rest at East Liberty Cemetery.
