Beverly J. Fisher

Beverly J. Fisher (Willis), 77, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2016 at St. Luke Lutheran Community (Portage Lakes) where she was well taken care of her last 10 months of her life. She was born December 4, 1938 to the late Arthur and Virginia Willis. A lifetime member of the New Apostolic Church, Beverly also retired from Lembo's Restaraunt after 36 years. She loved to play cards and bingo with her late friends, Janet Blackwell and JoAnn Gostlin.

Beverly is survived by her husband of 58 years, James; son, Arthur (Kim) Fisher; daughters, Susan (Michael) Hess, and Valerie (Richard) Smith; grandchildren, Christina (Robert) Furney, Krista (Daniel) Stather, Ryan Smith (Kristina LaVecchia), Brook Fisher, Brent Fisher (Jeremiah Daniels); great-grandchildren, Anthony Huprich, and Emily Furney. A special thanks to Tanya Miller and staff of Great Lakes Hospice.

A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 7:00pm at New Apostolic Church, 356 Eastwood Ave., Tallmadge, OH. Guests are welcome to call from 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Community (Portage Lakes), 615 Latham Lane, Akron, OH 44319 or New Apostolic Church.
