William "Bill" "Whitey" F. Davis, 85, of Akron, passed away November 19, 2016. Bill was born in Brownsville, Pennsylvania on May 12, 1931 to the late Jefferson and Mildred Davis. Bill retired from Lockheed Martin (Goodyear Aerospace) and he lived to fish. His favorite fishing hole was the Quiet Place in Boulter, Ontario, which was the family vacation spot for over 50 years. His love for fishing influenced his entire family, especially his aunts and uncles, cousins, friends and anyone who would take the drive to Canada.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret Davis.
He is survived by his children, Ron (Marilyn) Davis, Jennifer (Douglas) Starnes, Debra Price and Nancy Breedlove; sisters, Betty Kovsca and Mary Schuster; brother, Jefferson (Drucilla) Davis; 6 grandchildren and 6.5 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 10 am until time of funeral service at 11 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N.
