Donnie Dwayne Moss

Donnie Dwayne Moss, 54, of Akron, passed away on March 1, 2017. He was born on May 20, 1962 in Lakeland, Florida. Donnie worked at Yocono's in Akron for 25 years and most recently worked at Kids At Heart. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed biking, hiking, and skydiving. He was a big fan of both Rick Springfield and Dan Marino.
Donnie was preceded in death by his father, Herman "JR" Corbitt; mother, Carol Flory; and stepfather, Gary Moss. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Veronica Shreffler-Moss; children, Brittany (Rick) Kountz, Gabrielle Miller, Cameron, Alexandra, Christian, and Carter Moss; grandson, Noah Kountz; stepmother, LaRue Corbitt; sisters, Cindie Moss and Pam Gray; many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. followed by a 4:00 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Donnie will be privately laid to rest at Highland Cemetery in Glenford, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Donnie's family for his children.
