Robert G. Miller

Robert G. Miller, 65, of Akron, passed away on March 25, 2017. He was born in Barberton on September 29, 1951 to the late Floyd and Alice Miller.
Bob was employed at Cima Plastics. He loved the outdoors and could often be found gathering around a bonfire and playing horseshoes with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sisters, Alice Lusk and Betty Bing; and niece, Christine Wade.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 43 years, Jean; children, Bobbie, Mary, and Joe Miller; siblings, Billy Miller, Marilyn (Harold) Mull, and Ralph Miller; grandchildren, Kyle Miller, Mersadie and Jennifer Strausser; Shelby and David Greathouse, and Karley Bowman; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dave Hohlbaugh officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bob's family.
