Harry David Cross, Jr.

Harry David Cross Jr., "Crockett" 55, of Akron, passed away suddenly on September 19, 2017. Harry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend; he was born in Akron, Ohio on March 27, 1962. He was an Underground Supervisor with Taylor Telecommunications, where he has worked for 28 years. He loved riding his Harley, spending time with his grandchildren and enjoying a cold beer with friends.

Harry was preceded in death by his father, Harry Cross, Sr.; mother, Glo-Ann Kisner, and sister, Beth Ann Harland.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 37 years, Tamara Cross; children, Michael Cross and Brandi (Mike) Kilbel; grandchildren, Chris, McKayla, Drew and Nate Cross, Bryanna and Christian, and many close family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, where funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at noon. He will be laid to rest at Tallmadge Cemetery. As a way to honor Crockett's memory, please wear a Harley shirt.
