Ronald E. Rosier, Sr.

Ronald E. Rosier, Sr., "Ron", age 85 of Akron, Ohio, died on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Akron City Hospital.
He was born on July 31, 1932 in Piedmont, WV, the son of the late Herbert Leo and Maude Thelma (nee Abernathy) Rosier.
Mr. Rosier formerly served in the US Air Force.
Ron retired from Allsides in North Hampton after 35 years of service. Ron was a great auctioneer and did that for 25 years. He also liked going to the Hartville Flea Market. His greatest joy was spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, the former Mary E. Cutting, whom he married on July 25, 1952; his children, Douglas, Ronald E., Jr., Wayne, and Dale Rosier, Kandy (Curt) Stoehr, Roberta (James) Yorkey, and Patricia Rentz; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. His brother, Junior Richard (Marge) Rosier is also surviving.
Other than his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by one son, Rodney Rosier; and his siblings, Betty Stout, Theodore and Elmo Rosier.
Funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 1:00 PM, where Pastor Gary Smith will celebrate Ronald's life.
Family and friends may visit from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home on Friday, December 8, 2017.
