Robert C. Morgan, 87, of Akron, passed away January 3, 2018. Robert was born in Akron, Ohio on July 29, 1930 to the late Earl and Pearl Morgan. He was past president and member of the Firestone Park Primetimers.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife, Charlotte Morgan; daughter, Joy Ann Morgan, and brothers, Duane, Charles, James and Glenn Morgan.
He is survived by his children, Norman (Jean) Morgan, Dennis (Monolee) Morgan and Linda Marie Ridenour; long-time companion, Betty Prindle; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 11:30 am until time of funeral service at 1:30 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron. He will be laid to rest at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's name to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
