Melody Rose Moore, age 57, of Akron, Ohio, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Akron General Hospital.
She was born on September 7, 1960 in Akron, the daughter of Dolly Ludwig Morrison (nee Yeager) of Green and the late Robert L. Ludwig, Sr.
Melody was a 1978 graduate of Field High School and was an honorably discharged US Navy veteran.
In addition to her mother, other survivors include her husband, Iyad Abu Sharbi, whom she married on December 17, 2012; her step-father, Jerry Morrison; her two daughters, Melynda and Melissa both of Texas; four grandchildren, Chandler, Dylan, Kylah, and Willow; and two brothers also survive, Lannie Ludwig and Kenneth (Jackie) Ludwig.
Other than her father, Melody was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Ludwig, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, where Pastor Kenneth Bulgrin will celebrate Melody's life.
Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM.
