Janet L. King, 78, of Akron, passed away April 25, 2018 after a lengthy illness. She was born in Dry Creek, West Virginia on February 18, 1940 to the late Roscoe and Lessie Meadows. She now joins with her husband, Victor P. King, Sr.
Janet is survived by her children, Victor "Bicty" King, Jr., Tonya McAllister, Tina Lindsay and Randy Lindsay; grandchildren, Eric, Timmy, Robby, Bobby Marie and Jacob; and several great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 3-5 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH. To leave a special message for the family, please share a memory below.
