Thomas Bernard Andonian, "Tom", age 83 of Akron, Ohio, died on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Akron City Hospital.
He was born on October 28, 1934 in Akron, the son of the late Archag and Stella (nee Moreno) Andonian.
Tom worked for 42 years at Goodyear as a rubber worker, he retired in 1996. He was a very hard worker and loved it. Tom did roofing and he also was an avid reader and history buff. One of Tom's joys were his dogs.
Survivors include his loving wife, the former Helga J. Kliemannel, whom he married on December 1, 1974; his children, Silvia Andonian, Lisa Mayfield-Rusu, and Christina Andonian; his step-children, Connie Brown and James (Michelle) Manning; 23 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Rosemary "Cam" Kinsinger; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends survive.
Other than his parents, Tom is preceded in death by two step-sons, Jeffery Manning and John Manning; one granddaughter, Kimberli Manning; and his siblings, Viola Magistro, Edna Batista, Louis Andonian, Paul Andonian, Helen Andonian, Veronica Andonian, and a stillborn boy Andonian.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, May 21, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, where family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday, May 21, 2018 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM.
Following all services Mr. Andonian will be cremated.
