Brian D. Ward

Brian D. Ward, 56, of Cuyahoga Falls, went home to be with the Lord on July 18, 2018. Brian was born in Ravenna on April 30, 1962. He spent many years working alongside his father at Ward's Auto Repair and Towing in downtown Kent. In later years, Brian owned and managed several area restaurants. He was a past member of the Cuyahoga Falls Kiwanis and Boardman Baptist Church. Brian had a passion for sports and loved cheering for his nephews at their games. He always had a positive outlook on life and was a joy to be around. Brian will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert G. Ward and mother, Nancy Rowles. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Mark Chonko; nephews, Kurt, Kyle, and Garrett Chonko; stepfather, Ken Rowles; many other relatives and friends. Private services will be held. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
