Krista J. Hammond

Krista J. Hammond, 59, of Barberton, passed away at home on August 5, 2018. She was born in Akron on March 19, 1959. Krista was a valued employee of Janor Pot before retiring due to illness. She was a member of Passion Church in Hartville. Krista was preceded in death by her father, Bernie Hammond and sister, Brenda Hammond. She will be deeply missed by her children, Michael Hammond and Karri Staubs (Jeff); mother, Beatrice Hammond; siblings, Jeff Hammond (Sandy), Teresa Hammond (John), Rose Spore (Robert), and Bernie Hammond (Lynda); nieces, Nicole and Amy; nephews, Will, Rob, and Sean; and grandchildren, Tristah, Shane, Karma, Kristah, Jade, Todd, Taylor, and Tyler. Family is everything to Krista. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 12, 2018 from 5-7 followed by a 7:00 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
