Jennifer Grace Waechter, "Jen", age 46, she was born on September 11, 1971 and died on August 15, 2018.
Jenny was born in the Dayton area, but moved to Akron when she was two, living in Silver Lake through High School, where she graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High in 1989, also performing in the marching band. She graduated from Miami University of Ohio in 1993, and lived in Orlando for 15 years, moving back to Akron in 2010, where she lived in West Akron and the Portage Lakes. She was outgoing, energetic, and friendly, and we will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her father, Thomas Waechter of Akron; her step-mother, Donna Waechter of Akron; her mother, Linda Tuckley of New York City; her sister, Holly Roeder of Greenville, SC; and her step-sisters, Debbie Ammerman, Alicia Thomas, and Hillary Robinson, all of Akron; and a niece and nephew, Anna and Andrew Roeder.
There will be a memorial reception on September 11, 2018, which would have been her next birthday, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio, from 4:00 pm - 6:00 PM.
