On Friday, September 28th, 2018, Rosemary Paolucci Daugherty passed away at 86.
Rosemary was born on March 20, 1932, in Akron, OH to Vincenzo and Anita Paolucci. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1950 and studied music at Kent State University. On May 15, 1954, she married Francis Michael Daugherty. Rosemary was an accomplished pianist and a church organist at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Aurora, OH, and St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Dover, OH. She was a loyal and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Francis; brother, John; father, Vincenzo; mother, Anita; and her son-in-law,
Steven McCafferty. She is survived by her seven children and their spouses, Kevin and Mary Daugherty of Charlotte, NC, Paul and
Nikki Daugherty of Charlottesville, VA, Anita and John Radtke of Lebanon, OH, Theresa and Rick Shidaker of Kettering, OH, Patrica
McCafferty of Cincinnati, OH, Carol and Dennis Dougherty of Wilmington, DE, and Brian Daugherty of Atlanta, GA., in addition to 10
grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 10:00am at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron, Ohio in the Holy Family
