Sandra Lee Cook

Sandra Lee Cook passed away peacefully in her sleep after a short illness on October 29, 2018. She was born December 10, 1944 in Akron, Ohio to late parents Kenos Cook and Helen (Esque) Kuhn. Sandra will be remembered for her independence, her giving spirit, always helping out people in their times of need, and her love of Pepsi. In her younger years she enjoyed jet skiing, taking her niece, Kelly to Geauga Lake to ride roller coasters, cake decorating, painting ceramics, finding deals at garage sales and decorating for Christmas. She loved going to lunch and playing card games with her girlfriends, traveling, and spoiling her grandniece, Madeline, who was her pride and joy. Sandra worked for many years at GenCorp and Omnova, briefly at Roberts Express and ended her career at Roetzel & Andress in 2009.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by stepfather, Jacob Kuhn, and sister Janice Lynn Cook. Sandra is survived by her companion, Ralph Stacy; brother, Phil Kuhn; niece, Kelly (Mark) Treen; grandniece, Madeline Treen; and many friends including her best friend, Lynn Lundberg. Forever in her memory will always be her furry babies.

Visitation will be held from 2-4pm on Sunday, November 4 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. A memorial service will begin at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to One Of A Kind Pet Rescue in Sandra's memory.
