Rebecca Ellen Ross

Rebecca Ellen Ross, 60, of Tallmadge, passed away on January 9, 2019. She was born in Akron on January 27, 1958. Becky was employed with Roadway for over 25 years. She loved traveling and had many fond memories of trips to Texas to visit her family. She loved soaking up the warm weather with a margarita in her hand. She also enjoyed gambling and spending time with her animals, including her beloved dog, Abby. She is now reunited with her parents, Lewis and Kathleen Semick. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 38 years, Paul Ross; children, Paul Ross and Amanda Ross; brother, Lewis (Linda) Semick; nieces, Sherri (William) Wagner and Melissa (Eric) Blane and their families; nephew, Andrew Ross; special cousin, Vi (Hank) Weitzel; many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 12-3 followed by a 3:00 p.m. funeral service, Rev. Nan Taylor officiating, at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
