Joseph Paul Seiler, age 90, of Akron , Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2019 at Summa Akron City Hospital.
Joe was born February 12, 1928 in Akron, the son of the late Joseph and Hannah (McDonald) Seiler. He was employed by the General Tire and Rubber Company and retired after 45 years of service.
Preceded in death are his beloved wife Phyllis, daughter Kathleen Morgan, grandsons Thomas Morgan, Benjamin Morgan. Survivors include his four children, Joseph Seiler (Donna), Nancy Pflumm (Siggi), Karen Wronkovich (John), Marilyn DeWitt (Marvin Adkins), 9 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. To know Joe was to love him.
Our family would like to extend a special thanks to Mulberry Gardens Memory Care for the wonderful care and support he received there as a resident.
The family will hold a private service and Christian Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
