Gary was an honorably discharged US Navy veteran during the Korean War.
Mr. Myers retired as a salesman for Wells Fargo Alarm Services after 17 + years of service. His passion was fishing and flying RC Planes at Corsair Model Aircraft Field. He loved spending his summer weekends camping with his loving wife, Rebecca, their "happy place" in Marblehead, Ohio, with the best campers ever!

O'Brien, whom he married on July 7, 1976; his children, 1st born-Sherry (James "Jim") Sipusich and Jeffrey (Mary) Myers; six grandchildren, Kilee Sipusich, Jonathan, Emily, Daniel, Olivia, and Lydia Myers; his sisters, Dr. Carla (Ned) Myers-Ford and Laurie (Daniel) Mansuy, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and one aunt. He also leaves his beloved cat, Emma.
His best friends, Sam Pace and so many other close friends and his special neighbors, Brad, Lori, Mark, and Shianne, that were truly family to him, also survive.
Other than his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his daughter, Julie Myers; his siblings, Judith Lynch, Kimberly Breaux, and Larry Myers; his step-mother, Thelma Myers.
His family would like to thank "the angels" of Summa Hospice and First Light Home Care for their attention and care for Gary.
Per Gary's wishes, cremation will take place and there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date in Spring of 2019.
To Ray: I have left the ship and have gone on liberty!
