Jean E. Williams, 88, passed away February 4, 2007. Jean was born on January 10, 1919 in Akron to the late Ward and Helen Motz. She retired from General Tire. Jean was a kind and loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar and daughter, Cheryl. She is survived by her sons, Ted (Karen) and Frank (Sue) Williams; grandsons, Scott and David; son-in-law, Larry Waltz; sister, Mildred Wallace; brother, Pete Motz; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Mister. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Kenneth Frisbee officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Summa, 444 North Main St., PO Box 2090, Akron, OH 44398-6153. Online condolences may be sent to www.newcomerfamily.com.
