Barbara A. Blankenship

Barbara A. Blankenship, 66, passed away April 19, 2020 at The Colony Healthcare Center after a recent illness. Born in Akron, Ohio, she had resided in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio for most of her adult life and graduated from North High School. Barb previously worked as a baker and a cook at Stuzman's Bi-Rite, and was a beloved Chef for the ladies of Delta Gamma Sorority. She enjoyed playing with her dog Tidbit, gardening, cooking and entertaining. Barb loved playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.

Barb was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Blankenship and father, Kenneth Bailey. She will be sadly missed by sons Ryan, Chad (Julie); grandchildren, Justin and Danielle; mother, Dee Bailey; brother, Rick Bailey, sisters, Sherry White and Debbie Harvey; nieces, nephews and friends.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. At a later time once the Covid-19 virus subsides the family will have a private celebration of Barb's life.
