Willena Belle Rawdon, 92, of Akron, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 6, 2021. She was born in Waynesburg, Kentucky on January 20, 1929 to the late Clifton and Elgie Anne Stonesifer. Willena graduated from Waynesburg High School where she earned a typing award. Over the years, she enjoyed serving in the nursery, teaching VBS, and singing in the choir. Willena loved spending time with family, traveling, and watching the birds in her yard. Some of her fondest memories were traveling across the country in an RV with her husband, John.
In addition to her parents, Willena was preceded in death by her husband, John; daughter, Lynn Koerber; and sister, Vernelle. She will be dearly missed by her children, Jon (Sylvia), Becky (Don) Kiser, Jill (Jon) Strong, David (Denise), and Gregg (Pat); 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sisters, Agnes, Waneta, and Shirley; sisters-in-law, Betty, Grace, Patty, Linda, and Barbara; brother-in-law, Fred; numerous nieces and nephews.
