Joni Lynn King
October 8, 1956 — September 27, 2021
Joni L. Francis King went home to be with her heavenly family on September 27, 2021 at the age of 64. She was welcomed into the loving arms of her parents, Lois (Croyle) and John Francis, and many more waiting angels.
Joni was a lifelong resident of Akron and graduate of East High class of '75. She spent many years working at Summa Health Center. Joni was most happy near the water and never missed an opportunity to be at the beach or poolside. She loved visiting the casino and spoiling everyone's pets.
Joni is survived by her daughter Abby along with an extended family and friends who became family.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, October 23 at New Horizons Christian Church, 290 Darrow Rd. in Akron.
