Bobby was thoughtful and kind, especially when it came to helping others. He would socialized and engaged in a conversation with anyone. He was respectful and supportive in attending just about every funeral service; he visited sick friends in nursing facilities. In his past time, he was an avid pool player. He was a true car man; he would buy a car and dress it the way he wanted it to look. Bobby loved life. Even with his cancer diagnosis, he marched on.
In 2015 Bobby was diagnosed with a rare cancer. After his first surgery in 2016, he was inspired to write his testimony about his cancer diagnosis and surgery journey. With the help of his wife and Pastor Curtis Minter Sr., he shared his testimony in a booklet and witness to everyone about the awesomeness of God. In late 2016 Bobby along with his wife became members of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church; he was baptized in 2017. He faithfully attended bible study, Saturday prayer class, and Sunday service. One of the scriptures Bobby often reference was Ephesians 4:17-24, The New Man. He served on the usher board and was called to be a Deacon in training. The family thanks everyone who contributed to Bobby's life.
