Linda Sue Spencer

Linda Sue Spencer, 69, of Tallmadge, passed away on October 4, 2021. Linda was born in Akron on January 26, 1952 to the late Kay and Lois Anderson. She was a longtime league bowler with Palmer's Pals at Kent Lanes, where she previously worked. In her free time, she enjoyed keeping in touch with friends and family via social media and playing games on her computer. Above all, she loved her family, especially being a Grandma.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Anderson; and sister, Jackie Wilson. She will be dearly missed by her life partner of 30 years, Richard Schaaf; daughters, Kerri Spencer and Erica (John Gerring) Spencer; stepchildren, Melissa Strong and Rodney Schaaf; siblings, Cecil Anderson, Bobby (Karen) Anderson, Kay (Robin) Anderson, Mady (Vern) Pechac, and Brenda Pickering; grandchildren, Darren, Tyrell, Kaylynn, Bodhi, and Derrick; great-grandchildren, Kamyah, Dylan, and Dakota; and best friend, Marti Haas. Linda also leaves numerous nieces and nephews, who she affectionately referred to as the "pains in the ass".
Family and friends are welcome to gather on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
