Donald W. Hall

Donald W. Hall, born September 30, 1947 and left this life on December 4, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Florence (Stewart) Hall, and his beloved nephew, Jerry Dobson. Left to forever miss his smile, hugs and booming voice is his wife of 55 years, Carol; sons, Victor, Bill (Lin), and Chris Hall. Also left to miss him are his 5 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Connie (Ed) Burt and Caren (Bob) Cole; and many dearly loved nephews and nieces and a host of dear friends.

Since a young teenager, Don felt the need to win the lost for Christ. He made his life long friends wherever he worked. Don was always bringing treats of some sort to his friends. He never knew a stranger. Don worked many places and was owner/president of B & H Battery but his favorite job was with Summa Health Systems working on the Police Security Team. He was also the Chaplain for the officers.

Anyone that knew Don knew he loved to schedule meetings and in doing so always wanted to have lunch at the same time.

He was the Men's Ministry leader at the church for many years. Don was involved in so many aspects of the church. He sang the loudest in the choir maybe forgetting a word or two and was known to make up different words to replace them.

Visitation will be Monday, December 13 at Springfield Assembly of God, 1551 Canton Rd., Akron OH 44312 from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Matt Miller officiating.
