Vicki Elaine Price, age 67 of Akron, Ohio, died on October 10, 2022 at Akron City Hospital.
She was born on June 25, 1955 in Wadsworth, Ohio, the daughter of the late Stanley and Vivian E. (nee Weaver) Price Sr.
Vicki graduated from Garfield High School in 1973 and went on to Cleveland State University and earned an AS Degree in Business. She then started her career being an administrative assistant for Governor Brown in California, working for Motown and retiring from the LA Unified School District.
Some of her hobbies included reading, music, dancing and singing. Her greatest joy was being with her family, especially her son and her siblings.
Survivors include her loving son, Jarreau Price; her siblings, Rita Toomer, James Price, Robert (Linda) Price, Deborah Price, and Shirlee (Dwain) Brazil Sr.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that mourn her loss.
Other than her parents, Vicki was preceded in death by her brothers, Stanley Price Jr. and Richard Price.
Memorial services will take place on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, where Pastor Linda Isaiah will celebrate Vicki's life.
Family and friends may gather at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Wednesday.
