Mary "Dene" Montgomery

Mary Willadene Montgomery, 92, of Akron, passed away on November 8, 2022. She was born in Gilmer County, West Virginia on August 31, 1930 to the late Ottie and Kizzie Yeager.
Dene was a wonderful mother, sister, and aunt. She loved spending time with family and friends and making crafts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Montgomery; son, Larry Burton; and siblings, Bill, Sis, and Frank.
She will be dearly missed by her children, Donna Kurtz and Kenneth Burton; siblings, Park, Bob, Sandy, and Dot; numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves her beloved cat, Tinker.
Per Dene's wishes, there will be no formal services. She will be privately laid to rest at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
