Gary Robert Hume, age 31 of Streetsboro, Ohio, died on November 29, 2022.
He was born on July 9, 1991 in Akron, the son of Brett and Mary (nee Schaber) Hume of Akron, Ohio.
He will be dearly and sorely missed by his parents; his fiance, Lauren Pollock; his siblings, Cory (Stephanie ) Hume, Amanda (Joe) Stevens, Brigette Hume and Bryan (Leanna) Hume; his nieces and nephews, Owen, Brynlee, Dominic, Tyler, Olivia and Wesley. Gary also leaves his beloved dog, Zero.
Gary was a unique and kind soul and a gift to all who knew him. He had the best friend group anyone could hope for. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan, huge soccer fan and loved Harry Potter and Star Wars.
Gary had a long battle with Kidney disease that led to other health issues, but he didn't let it stop him from living life to the fullest, graduating Kent State and pursuing his career in the banking industry, currently at Key Bank.
Funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio, 44305 on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM.
Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM.
