Kathlene Belle Kennedy

Kathlene Belle Kennedy, 78, of Akron, passed away on November 21, 2022. She was born in Monongalia County, West Virginia on July 17, 1944 to the late Osie Allen and Beatrice Eva Bosley. Kathlene was known to her family as "Cookie".
Kathlene married Jack Kennedy on March 2, 1962. They soon moved to Akron and began their family, which eventually grew to thirteen children. Cookie was an excellent cook. Her family will always remember her fried chicken, wild game, homemade bread, and doughnuts. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be truly missed by everyone who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Cookie was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; siblings, Shelby Leary, Frieda Idenhower, and Andy Bosley.
She will be dearly missed by her children, Ricky (Debbie) Bosley, Kathey Kennedy, Colena (Bud) Burch, Sandy Kennedy, Hayward (Denise) Kennedy, Myrtle Boggs (David Dodds), Kimberly Kennedy, Jackie Spears, Jack Kennedy Jr., Samuel Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, Billy Kennedy, and John Kennedy; siblings, Osie "Sonny" Bosley, Dennis Bosley, Sue (Dave) Henry, and Phyllis Bosley; over thirty grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Per Kathlene's wishes, cremation will take place and she will be interred alongside her husband Jack at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover, West Virginia.
