Together again!" William W. Faulkner, 90, of Mogadore, was reunited with his wife JoAnn the morning of March 27, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, his loving wife JoAnn C. Faulkner, and son Ronald D. Faulkner. He leaves to cherish his memory, his three daughter's Cheryl E. Thomas, Debora S. Faulkner, and Linda G. Faulkner, as well as his son Terry W. Faulkner. He also leaves his grandchildren Daniel E. Faulkner, Jessica N. Faulkner, Shaun G. Robertson, Cathy L. Brown, Chad A. Thomas, Lindsay R. Ochs, and Hannah C. Faulkner, as well as 12 great grandchildren. Born August 22, 1932 to Dora Martin and Belford Faulkner. He was raised a farm boy in Tennessee and Alabama. Once he reached 18 he joined the army during the Korean war. William was a hard working man devoted to taking care of his family of 7, as well as his farm. He worked most of his life 16 hours a day 7 days a week. He spent many years working for RCA Rubber Co before he retired. He even worked into his 80's splitting firewood to keep the house warm as well as taking care of his property and his cat Joe. He so loved his wife, they would hold hands all the time. JoAnn would point to his hands and make fun of his wrinkles and he would in turn say how he may have wrinkles but she sure had freckles on her hands. He would also drive around his property on his golf cart, picking up JoAnn on the way and telling the kids, "Now don't bother us, we're going behind the barn to smooch." He was very much loved and will be missed. Until we meet again. Special thanks to Martina at Greenview Senior Living for her advocacy for William while he was at the Arbors. William's funeral will be held on April 8th, 2023 at 11:45 am at Hillside Memorial Park 1025 Canton Rd Akron, OH 44312.
