Mary Agnes O'Quinn

Mary Agnes O'Quinn, age 88 of Akron, Ohio, died on April 29, 2023 at Barberton Citizens Hospital.
She was born on June 9, 1934 in Buchanan, Virginia, the daughter of the late Tennie Blankinship.
Mary Agnes was an incredible homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family. Besides taking care of her husband and children, she loved to do crafting and visit nursing homes with the Akron Baptist Temple.
Survivors include her children, Sandra "Sandy" (Robert) Dilworth, Alan (Catherine) O'Quinn and Brian (Marie) O'Quinn; her grandchildren, Robert Dilworth II, Ryan Dilworth, Sara (Jason) Bennett and Chloe O'Quinn; and her great-grandchildren, Carson Bennett and Aryanna Dilworth.
Mary Agnes also has two sisters that survive, Opal Sanders and Juanita Sanders.
Other than her mother, Mary Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Duane S. O'Quinn on July 22, 2001, they were united in marriage on May 26, 1951, and they enjoyed 50 years together.
Funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305 on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 11:00 AM, where Pastor Gary Smith will celebrate Mary Agnes' life.
Family and friends may visit from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the funeral home on Thursday.
Mary Agnes will be laid to rest next to her husband at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron, immediately following the funeral service.
