Larry C. Rose

Larry C. Rose, 86, passed away peacefully at home on August 26, 2023 after a battle with Alzheimer's Disease. He was born on August 2, 1937 in Reliance, Tennessee to James and Nora (Tilson) Rose. Larry graduated from Benton High School in Benton, Tennessee. He married Sandra Dalton on June 2, 1961 and celebrated 62 years of marriage this year. He worked for Norfolk & Southern Railroad, retiring with 36 years of service. He loved sports and spending time with his family, especially his precious grandsons Ryan & Robbie.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his son, Brian and 9 siblings. Larry will be sadly missed by his loving wife, partner and wonderful caregiver, Sandy; his daughter, Melissa (Rick) Delagrange; his pride and joy grandsons, Ryan, Robbie; special friends, Dale Daugherty, John Koehl.

The family would like to thank Traditions Hospice for their outstanding care and compassion to Larry and his family. A special thank you goes to Jen, Ashley, Hannah and Ginger who helped make this difficult time much easier.

Per Larry's wishes, cremation will take place. There will be no formal services. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Larry's name to Hartville Church of the Brethren.
