Robert M. Lupori, "Bob", passed away on September 5, 2023, after a short illness.
He was born in Akron, Ohio, to the late James and Catherine Lupori.
Bob attended Garfield High School and Akron University.
He was an honorably discharged US Air Force veteran, and after his discharge he moved to Suffield, Ohio, where he lived for the last 50 years. Bob was a small business owner for 28 years.
Bob was an avid fisherman and spent many years as a charter boat captain on Lake Erie. He also fished all the local lakes and could tell you everything about them. He coached youth football in Suffield and Springfield for eight years. He was a diehard Ohio State Buckeye fan and looked forward to football season every year.
Bob is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda M. Lupori; his children, Kristen (Shawn), Matthew (Becky) and Michael; his grandchildren, Megan (Tyler), Tyler (Astin), Amber and Kyle; his great-grandchildren, Christian and Kian, who were the joy of his life; his siblings, James (Marissa) Lupori, Frances (Marvin) Hilley and Mary Weisgarber (the late David) and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at the Lions Park Hall, 1128 Waterloo Road, Suffield, from 1 PM - 4 PM.
In lieu of flowers, pleased consider making a donation to the Wounded Warriors Project.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
