Helen F. Jordan

Helen F. Jordan, 96, of Akron, passed away on April 17, 2024. She was born on October 18, 1927 the daughter of Mitchell and Ressie Cathell of Adrian, WV. Helen will always be remembered for her sense of humor, her laughter, the love in her heart, and her dedication to her children and her beloved grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband William Jordan; granddaughter Maryann Seeley; brother Richard, Tom, and Bob; son-in-law Bob Mathias; and David Jones.

Helen is survived by her loving family, children Frances Talbert, Perry (Ann) Gour, Debbie Mathias, Billie Jo (Jerry) Maust, and Terri Bickler; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 25th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where services will be held Friday, April 26th at 1:00pm with Pastor Stephen Neumeyer officiating.

Interment will be held at Hillside Memorial Park.
