Sue Tenney, of Akron, passed away January 13, 2010 after a short battle with cancer. Sue enjoyed decorating her home and gardening. She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Corns; mother, Genevieve DeMent; sister, Brenda Booth; and special dog, Sweetie. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 38 years, Jim; sons, Lonnie (Yvonne) Murdock and James (Kenetha) Tenney; brother, Larry Cook; grandchildren, Jennifer and Lonnie Murdock and Carmen Tenney; niece, Sherri (Mike) Booth-Turany; and special dog, Honey. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Monday at 12 p.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
