John L. Neidert

John L. Neidert, 72, went home to be with the Lord on February 14, 2011, after a long illness. John served with the US Army and worked at Lawson's and retired from Summit Racing. Preceded in death by his parents and 8 siblings. Survivors include his loving wife, Roberta, of 14 years; daughter, Terry (Tony) Morrison; son, John (Kim); stepdaughters, Sandy (Craig) Kocher, Renee (Dennis) Gauthier, Carla (Curtis) Ballard and Charady (Ed) Jackson; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill, Pete; sisters, Katherine, Barb. Calling hours will be Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service will be Thursday, 11 a.m., at Greensburg Church of God, 4691 Massillon Rd., Green, OH 44232. Interment at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Summa.
