Victor Scott Freeman

Victor Scott Freeman, 56, of Akron, passed peacefully April 20, 2014. He was born in Barberton, OH on August 22, 1957. Scott was a graduate of Springfield High School Class of 1976.
Preceded in death by his beloved Mom, Bobbi Joann Price; Step-mother, Carolyn Freeman.
Scott is survived by his father, Dewey Freeman; step-dad, Glen Price; brothers, Stephen (Kathleen) and Jeffrey; sister, Melissa Price; aunt, Peggy (Willie) Cross and many friends.
The family would like to thank the special angels of Akron City Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their compassion and kindness shown by all of them during Scott's stay.
Family and friends may call on Friday, April 25, from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 26 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
