Jacob Jack Kuhn

Jacob Jack Kuhn, 90, of Springfield Twp, Akron, passed away August 10, 2014. He was born in Clifton, New Jersey on May 14, 1924 to the late Jacob and Catherine Kuhn. Jake proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a Purple Heart award recipient with Two Battle Stars. He worked for many years as a carpenter for Brown & Graves and also worked in Maintenance for the Akron School Board. Jake enjoyed woodworking in his personal workshop.
In addition to his Parents and Siblings, Jake was preceded in death by his loving Wife, Helen and second Wife, Juanita Glass. He is survived by Daughter, Sandra Cook, Son, Philip Kuhn and Granddaughter, Kelly (Mark) Treen.
Private services will be held at a later date. Final resting place will be at Hillside Memorial Park.
