Aaron Michael Finklestein, age 34, of Coventry, Ohio, died on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at his home.
He was born in Akron, the son of Ronald P. and Sheila Markel Finklestein.
Aaron was a 2001 graduate of Firestone High School and attended Akron University and Malone College. Aaron was an Information Technician for CVS. He enjoyed reading, riding his Harley, and martial arts-as he had a black belt in Karate.
In addition to his parents, Aaron is survived by his son, Ethan Michael Finklestein; his friend and former wife, Gina Scavelli; his sister, Emily Finklestein; his cousins, Lea Thomann, Heather and Michael Markel; his aunts and uncles, Dr. Michael (Joyce) Markel, Diane Markel, Tricia (Rick) Jones, and other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mike and Norma Markel, and Leo and Luella Finklestein.
Family and friends may visit from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, on Monday, June 5, 2017, where funeral services will take place at 4:00 PM.
Following visitation and services, Aaron will be cremated.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to one's own favorite charity in Aaron's memory.
