Ada G. Cumberledge, 100, of Akron, passed away May 11, 2016. Ada was born in Sedilla, West Virginia on July 11, 1915 to the late Charles and Martha Robinson. Her greatest joy came from loving and devoting her life to her husband, children and grandchildren. In her spare time she loved gardening, reading and quilting.
In addition to her parents, Ada was preceded in death by her loving husband, Marvin C. Cumberledge, and son Marvin R. Cumberledge.
She will be dearly missed by her children, Robert (Mary) Cumberledge of Akron, Loretta Glaze of Atwater, Martha Beaver of Akron, and Clyde (Rita) Cumberledge of Akron; 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, May 16, 2016 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron with Pastor Glenn E. Rogers officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
