Adam Brown

Adam Brown, age 87 of Wadsworth, went Home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 5, 2025. He was born in Charleston, West Virginia to McKinley and Gertrude (Young) Brown. He married Helen Kathryn on August 18, 1956. They moved to Ohio in 1959, where he later owned and operated Brown's Union 76 for many years. Adam enjoyed hosting guests at the Music Barn, collecting vintage cars, running his small farm, and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Helen. Adam will be sadly missed by his children, Paul (Candy) Brown, Ernie (Cindy) Brown, Rachel (Mark Freeman) Brown; grandchildren, Adam (Amanda), Crystal (Brian), Brittany, Theresa, Jacob, Luke, Sarah (Aaron), Andrew; great grandsons, Hunter, Carter, AJ, Liam, Elijah; sister, Rachel Walker.

Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will take place Friday, April 11 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sharon Center Cemetery.
