Heaven gained another angel, Adam Daniel Joesph Gannon "Nicole Canova," at the age of 33, August 10th 2021. He graduated from Coventry High School class of 2007 and received a degree in cosmetology in 2009. Adam had a passion for life, family, friends and entertainment. He was the light of every room he would walk into. Adam was well known in his LGBTQ community, bringing glitz, glamour, and big hair. Nicole was crowned Miss Gay Akron Newcomer, along with a few other wins. He also worked as a server and line cook at Denny's. Adam knew how to touch the hearts of any one who came across his path, leaving nothing but smiles.
Adam was proceeded in death by his grandmother, Sandra "Sandy" Gannon; his great aunt, Linda Sentelik, his biggest fan; and aunt, Vicki Nelson. He is survived by his mother and father, Jackie and Kenny Nelson; brother, Noah (Jennifer) Gannon; Uncle Addee's three favorite nieces, Maddie "Madd Max," Kenzee "Blue" and Maci "Mater"; his aunt, Gayle (Rocky) Cross; cousins, Amanda Mills, Brittany Mills, and Megan (Brandin) and her children Paisleigh, Hudson, Maddox, and Logan Eckberg; step-cousins, Brian Cross, Brittany Kaiser, Brooke Kline, Brianna Royer; uncle, Marty (Diane "Aunt Dee Dee"); cousins, Holly and Dale Murphy; aunt, Heidi Wiseman and cousins; his godmothers, aunt Kelli Rife and Gayle Cross; godfathers, Joesph Sentelik and Daniel Senetlik; Charlene "Aunt She-She" Knupp and cousins; aunt, Lori McKee; aunt, Mari Sutton; and many other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, August 15th 2021, at 4pm with visitation to follow until 8pm. Cremation and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
