Adelina Lagani

Adelina (Lena) Lagani was reunited with her husband and son on October 10th, 2022. She was surrounded by her surviving children with so much love and thankfulness that she was our Mamma.

Lena was born in Soverato, Calabria, Italy. She met and married our Dad, Giuseppe Lagani. Mom came alone to America, two years ahead of Dad, to start their new lives. When Dad arrived, they worked hard at getting their citizenship. Mom took care of all of us, the house and helped Dad with the business. She was a giving, loving Mom and Nonna. Everything she did for us was from the heart. Crocheting blankets, scarves and sweaters was her favorite hobby. We all have many keepsakes she crafted for us that will be cherished forever.

Adelina was preceded in death by her husband, Giuseppe Lagani and her son, Joseph S Lagani. She is survived by her children, Marisa (Tony)Ferrise, John (Cori) Lagani and Rosie (Tim) Elkins; grandchildren Brittaney (Chuck) Hardy, Danelle (Dave) Kammer, Joel Lagani, Anthony (Kenyah) Lagani, Frank Ferrise, Salvatore Ferrise, Desmond Lagani, Adelina (Charles) Elkins, Gianni Elkins, Gino Lagani; and great-grandchildren, Alyssa Hardy, Jayden Hardy, Maddie Kammer and Bryce Kammer.

Our hearts are aching, but we know she was welcomed home by Dad and Joe and can now be eternally happy.
