Adeline Skeen

Adeline M. Skeen, 85, of Mogadore, passed away on July 23, 2005 at Akron City Hospital. She was born July 22, 1920 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to the late Max & Laura (McCambridge) Getz. She was known as "Piney" and enjoyed walking through Mogadore, sewing and crocheting. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, John, Frank and Phil Getz; sister, Katherine Russell. She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, John Skeen; daughter, Lori (Richard) Neidert of Cuyahoga Falls; granddaughter, Bridget Neidert; great-granddaughter, Selena Hutchens; sister, Mary Beckner of Akron. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held Saturday, 10:00 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Eugene Higgins officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1813 W. Market St., Ste. 301, Akron OH 44313-7067.
