Aghdas Rahimi

Aghdas Rahimi, age 85 of Akron, Ohio passed away peacefully Friday morning January 13th, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born February 20th, 1937 in Iran. The daughter of the late Fatima Rahimi and Mir Rahim. Aghdas immigrated to the United States with her late husband Seyed Javad Mirhaidari in 1988.

Aghdas enjoyed a full life. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting and cooking different foods. Aghdas was blessed with a large and loving family whom she enjoyed spending her time with. Those left to cherish her memory are her four children, Dr. Morteza Mirhaidari ( Sharon - Buckley Mirhaidari ) of Dover; Masoumeh Joya ( Yahya Joya ) of Green; Dr. Mostafa Mirhaidari ( Nasrin Rahimi ) of Canton; Ali Reza Mirhaidari ( Amy Mirhaidari ) of Akron. Her eleven grandchildren, Dr. Shayda Mirhaidari ( Dr. Adrian Ochoa) of Canton; Dr. Mejgon Joya of Westlake; Dr. Gabriel Mirhaidari ; Dr. Zacharia Mirhaidari; Dr. Cyrus Mirhaidari; Attorney Touraj Joya; Elizabeth Rietz; Amir Joya; Areya Joya; Naseem Mirhaidari; Nousheen Mirhaidari; Laila Mirhaidari and blessed with two great-grandsons, Dario Rostam Ochoa and Sergio Siavash Ochoa.

The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care given by Crossroads Hospice of Uniontown, Ohio as well as the staff of Akron City Hospital. She will be greatly missed and remembered as the mother who dedicated her life for the happiness and success of her children and grandchildren.
