Agnes A. Showalter

Agnes A. Showalter, 82, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord on April 17, 2002. She was born in Peninsula OH to the late Charles & Frances (Hummel) Held. Agnes was a volunteer with the Haven of Rest Ministries. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Showalter, to whom she was married for 59 years; brothers, Charles, Paul and Arthur Held. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Janet & Thomas Walsh; granchildren, Brian and Joy; great-grandson, Michael; and special nephew, Charles Held of Atlanta, GA. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 20 at Cottage Prayer Chapel, 3590 Sweitzer N.W., Uniontown with Pastor Brian Walsh officiating.
