Agnes Rose (nee Lutz) Wilson, "Ricki", age 83 of Akron, Ohio, died at her home on September 10, 2020.
She was born in Mesercordia Hospital in New York City, New York on November 1, 1936, the daughter of the late James J. and Catherine Cecelia (nee Savage) Lutz.
Ricki was a retired nurses aid and served as a volunteer as a monitor at Case School Elementary. She enjoyed gardening, genealogy and was well versed in current events. She was very generous to her neighbors, especially with her baking. She was involved with her community, she was generous with her funding to charity groups, the veterans, St. Jude's and the police and law enforcement.
Survivors include her two children, Barry Dean (Angela) Wilson and Robyn Dawn (Michael) Conley; her six grandchildren, Michael, Brian and Meghan Conley, Rochelle (Michael) Holbrook, Ryan Wilson and Leah (Michael) Porter; her two great-grandchildren, Jason Conley, Blaine Porter and one on the way.
Also surviving is her sister, Marion Xanthos.
Other than her parents, Ricki was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Wilson on September 30, 1999, they were united in marriage on May 18, 1991 at First United Church of Christ in Akron; and her siblings, Dorothy and Georgina Roberts, James, Joseph and John Lutz, Margaret Thompson and Gloria Bagnuk.
There will be no services or calling hours and burial will take place privately at Rose Hill Burial Park, Akron.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
